Roman bronze bowl handle. A near identical handle was attached to the strainer bowl found in the 'Essex Druid' Celtic/Early Roman burial at Stanway, Colchester, along with medical instruments and a gaming board. The strainer contained traces of artemisia pollen, which is commonly associated with herbal remedies. See Crummy et al (2007).
